Researchers at the University of Reading found that violet-blue light killed every one of the 64 strains of Campylobacter they tested, including antibiotic-resistant ones. It's the bug behind a huge share of food poisoning in the UK, though real-world trials on poultry still need to happen. Would light-treated chicken be an easy yes for you?
